Psychological Pracititoners Finland ry is organising a training course that will lead to the qualification of psychotherapist for all participants.

The program will commence in 2025, with applications due in January/ February 2025.

We know how hard and frustrating it can be to find the information you need about mental health and it can be difficult to navigate the systems in Finland if you are not familiar with them.

Psychological Practitioners Finland ry was formed by international and foreign born psychologists, psychotherapists and mental health counsellors who live and work in Finland.


Mental health help in Finland

Public health – hospitals, polyclinics, health stations
  • Through school, university or the workplace – psychology services provided in your school or university, or occupational psychology provided through your employer
  • NGOs/third sector organisations – charities and associations who provide free crisis, counselling and peer support services
  • Private practitioners – find a counsellor, therapist, psychologist or psychotherapist and contact them directly to book an appointment.
